Punk Rock

I've always considered myself to be a peaceful man, though admittedly a large part of my pacifism is the result of working backwards from the fact that I'm basically a coward. I'd actually be quite happy to lead our generation into a defining conflict against the injustices of the world, it just seems unlikely that I'd get through the experience without being punched in the face, which almost never happens when I stay home making music mixes.

From the Iraq war spilling into Syria, guaranteeing a cycle of violence no less predictable than a setting sun, to the fact that nobody's been able to explain a meaningful difference between the Eric Garner video and a lynching, these days even the most lily-livered of us might feel a renewed yearning for the sound of shattering glass.
